About this Experience
The Bicowa banana and beer making experience is a cultural activity offered as part of the Bigodi community tour. You can choose to observe or participate in this organic process of transforming bananas into local beer or gin. The hands-on experience involves crushing bananas, adding sorghum or millet, and fermenting the mixture in clay pots, with opportunities to sample the brews and learn about the cultural significance and economic role of banana beer.
